In memory of Prof. Dr. James Varghese, who conceded in a private communication the indignation on religion & rituals. He is the author of several scientific publications, six of which I share. He earned the title Doctor of Philosophy to nine in his team.

Born as a slave, to be stained in religion and rituals,
Being driven by one horse rhythm and riddle,
Brain drained, derailed, by demand, dogmas, rituals,
Brilliance banged, bridled and blocked by rituals,
Be or not to be, where can one find finality of reason.
Crimes creeps, clandestinely chasing charming chimes,
Crimson and saffron cultured crowned royals,
Court and criminal laws circumvented and reverted,
Commoners can not conceive cruelty colluded,
Crescent, Cross, Conch call and crown conceded.
Live lively, shake off the shadow of sinful snare,
Living with consciousness clears the sins of soul,
Languish not in the spasm of self-conceitedness,
Live life, loving the Creator and the created ones,
Life a many splendered, magnificent melody to share.
